Coaches and captains have better language to talk about character and respect.
The team builds a stronger culture of accountability and trust.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Athletes step into peer leadership roles, influencing teammates positively.
They recognize that respect = strength, not weakness.
They begin thinking long-term about reputation, relationships, and life beyond sport.
RISK REDUCTION
Fewer situations involving unclear consent, coercion, or harm.
Less tolerance for toxic behavior within the team.
More athletes proactively seek help or talk with mentors, coaches, or counselors.
